Processions

It was his most joyful day

Wedding parade down the street

Family relatives and friends

Gathered to witness

His new chapter of life

He was the groom beaming with pride

Flowers adorned his beautiful bride

Laughter reverberated in the air

People sending them blessings

All joined in celebration

A decade later

The most joyless day

Another procession

Down the same street

Family relatives and friends

Gathered to escort him

In closing his last chapter of life

Sad and solemn

Lamenting songs

His casket adorned with flowers

Mournful weeping sound

From his beloved wife

Lingering in the air
